The Elkford Sled Dog Society is hosting the 17th Wilderness Classic Sled Dog Derby. This event will take place in the District of Elkford / Regional District of East Kootenay on February 8th 10th 2013. This event will host seven different classes that run over two days. Competitors range from all ages and come from all over Canada and the US. Community activities throughout the weekend include community volunteer involvement Snow Shoe Biathlon Wilderness Classic Dinner and Social. CBT funds will be used towards the costs associated with the event.
