On March 4 2010 a memorial service will be held at Grizzly Plaza in Revelstoke to commemorate the 100th Anniversary of Canada's largest avalanche accident. Various organizations in the community will gather to tell the story of this accident and how their actions brought us to the present day approach to preventing such avalanche disasters. CBT supports this event as it supports the efforts of residents to highlight the danger of avalanches using the historic Rogers Pass incident of 1910 as an example.
