The Splatsin First Nation will be coordinating the 2011 Sturgeon Gathering which is being held in Revelstoke on Wednesday April 20th 2011 at the Centennial Ball Park. This event enhances and promotes community awareness and educates individuals on the importance of the White Sturgeon to the Columbia Basin ecosystem and First Nations culture. CBT funds will be used towards the costs associated with this event.
