The West Kootenay Branch of the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of BC will be hosting the 2011 West Kootenay Popsicle Stick Bridge Building Competition on April 2 2011 in Castlegar BC. This competition invites children of all ages to build a bridge that spans 500mm using only white glue and 100 popsicle sticks. CBT funds will be used towards the costs associated with this event.
