The Kootenay Boundary Community Services Cooperative will host the 2nd West Kootenay Aboriginal Elders Gathering in New Denver on November 18 20 2011. This is a two day conference where Elders from all over the West Kootenay region will be invited to connect with each other and provide input into cultural planning for aboriginal children in the care of the Ministry of Children and Family Development. CBT funds will be used towards the costs associated with this event.
