The City of Revelstoke received funds to support a poverty reduction strategy. The project will provide the information required to understand and address poverty issues in the community. A comprehensive community based planning document will aid the municipality and community agencies organizations and groups to actively work towards reducing the level of poverty in Revelstoke and its impact on both individuals and the community as a whole. The project takes place in fall 2011.
