The Lower Kootenay Band will be hosting a ceremonial canoe trip and celebration for Aboriginal Day. This canoe trip will start in Bonners Ferry Idaho and will finish in Porthill Idaho/Rykers BC with a community gathering celebration. This event which takes place on June 21 2014 will promote health and wellness cultural values of the river and celebrate the Ktunaxa youth.
