The Regional District of East Kootenay will be delivering the Access Guardian Program 2013/14 which includes hiring an Access Guardian who will: - Educate people on backcountry access issues; - Provide public relations while monitoring backcountry traffic; - Enforce backcountry access laws and regulations; and - Deal with infractions that may be encountered while on patrol.
