The Tobacco Plains Indian Band will be conducting pre-feasibility studies focused on agricultural development in the Grasmere area. The studies will review not only what can be grown but what markets are available the skills and knowledge available in the area an asset inventory and consideration of various business models. The project proposes the assembly of a community agricultural development committee to analyze the data collected and recommendations put forth for the purpose of developing an appropriate business plan that will see prosperous agricultural development in the area.
