The Slocan Valley Heritage Trail Society will be hosting an open house at an archaeological site at the Slocan Narrows near Lemon Creek on July 12 2015. This event is an annual event that attracts several hundred people to view the remains of an ancient First Nation pit house village and learn about the history of that community.
