ArtsSmarts is a national funding program sponsored by the JW McConnell Family Foundation and offered throughout British Columbia Schools. ArtsSmarts provides schools with matching grants for young people to gain hands on experience through artist in the classroom activities. ArtsSmarts provides funding for schools to build partnerships with local artists and arts organizations to create programs that integrate artists' residencies and workshops into the curriculum.
