The Revelstoke Heritage Railway Society will be hosting the Baggage Cart a La Carte in Revelstoke on August 16 2013. This is a community event to celebrate the start of Railway Days and opening of the travelling exhibition Empress of Ireland. Residents and visitors of all ages will enjoy a unique blend of true historical stories and original songs about BC's colorful steam rail era and learn about the history of this Canadian Pacific owned vessel and the largest maritime disaster in Canadian waters. CBT funds will be used toward the costs associated with this event.
