The purpose of the Project is in furtherance of the public purpose of the Trust and is specifically to support College of the Rockies - Cranbrook with the administration and delivery of the Basin Food Producer Wage Subsidy Program (Program) which provides support to primary food producers in the Basin that increase food production to meet local demand for foods that are locally produced. The Program will provide flexibility to farmers to hire residents of the Basin as needed throughout the growing and harvesting season of 2021.
