CBT is committed to working with Basin Residents to increase their awareness and understanding of the Columbia River Treaty (CRT) and to ensure that processes and opportunities are created to engage Basin Residents in a meaningful way. The Basin stories project documented the record of events prior to and after the building of the CRT Dams and recorded displaced Basin residents' stories of what life was like during that time. CBt will provide $2 400 for the review of the Basin stories project footage and selection of pertinent clips of interviews that will be used in the development of a montage of clips representing the views and ways of life of Basin residents prior to the building of the CRT dams. This Basin stories montage will be incorporated into CRT educational tools and audio visual displays.
