On February 20 2010 a wine judging event will take place at the Burton Community Hall. This encourages participation from all the people of the area to not only submit their wine for judging but to also attend an evening of awards supper entertainment and community celebration. The involvement of many area residents emphasizes the need for social and economic development in the community to support the region's well being. This event coincides with research and planning around the development of a grape growing industry in the area.
