This project will support the Castlegar and District Chamber of Commerce to build a new multi-use 7,000 square foot Mass Timber, Passive House building to contain the Chamber of Commerce, Castlegar Economic Development, Destination Castlegar, the West Kootenay Gateway Visitor Centre and a Community Futures branch as well as co-working and community gathering space. The Trust Grant is provided to support Project costs associated with community use/ gathering space components of the new building.
