The Symphony of the Kootenays is hosting a unique concert event April 12-13 2014. This event will bring together professional musicians and high school aged musicians together to perform two orchestral music concerts. This event will not only provide a unique opportunity for the youth participating in the over 70 piece orchestral band but will also provide a unique opportunity for the community to experience multi-generational local talent. Attendance at both sessions is expected to be upwards of 1100 people. CBT funds will be used for costs associated with hosting this event.
