The City of Castlegar will be distributing 200 indoor kitchen composters free of charge at the Castlegar Recreation Complex on October 29 2011. This give a way will promote the use of composting kitchen waste to divert waste currently entering the local landfills and starting locals on the path of larger scale composting.
