The City of Nelson is embarking on a Sustainability Strategy to establish guiding sustainability principles for the community and through these principles set the tone and vision for the City of Nelson towards 2040. The Sustainability Strategy will be created in an open and collaborative process with the local residents businesses community organizations and the City. Five working groups will be established with community volunteers representing various sectors. Each working group will have a strong local facilitator in the specific areas. CBT funds will be used towards the costs associated with the honorariums for five facilitators who will act as a working group leader.
