CBT is supporting the Clean Air and Climate Change Project that is encouraging and supporting sustainable choices throughout the Kimberley/Cranbrook region. The project will consist of a number of initiatives including: 1. A Green Building/Renovation Program to consolidate and facilitate knowledge sharing amongst local trades people and general public 2. Development of a 'vanpool' for regular Kimberley/Cranbrook commuters to reduce GHG emissions 3. Furthering public outreach on best wood burning practices for residential home heating 4. Delivery of the Sustainable Living Series 5. Continuation of the One Planet Film Series 6. Clean Air Champions and 7. Pilot a climate change adaptation module for Selkirk Secondary School accompanied by a carbon footprint analysis.
