Columbia Basin Trust is funding the organization of this conference. The Columbia Mountains Institute of Applied Ecology is the lead agency for workshop organization and handles funds and coordinates many of the workshop tasks. Partners for the workshop to date include the East Kootenay Environmental Society Canadian Climate Impacts and Adaption Research Network and the BC Ministry of Water Land and Air Protection.
