The BC Conservation Foundation received funding to support the Columbia Basin Electric Fencing Workshops June and July 2012. These workshops will be held in Revelstoke Golden Invermere Kimberley Elk Valley and Fernie and will provide residents with electric fencing education and its benefits in preventing human-bear conflicts by enabling them to protect their fruit trees and livestock as well as reduce or eliminate on-going conflicts with bears.
