The Trust will support the University of Northern British Columbia's study of glacier mass balance glacier runoff changes in glacier accumulation and the extent and volume on representative glaciers in the Canadian Columbia Basin (Basin). Glacial research in the Basin will provide necessary information on glacial recession and build awareness and understanding around the loss of glaciers in the region their potential impacts on Basin water resources.
