This project will gather bird data that will support an application seeking an Important Bird Area (IBA) designation from the BC Nature Federation of BC Naturalists for the Columbia Wetlands. The IBA designation will assist groups wanting to work in the Columbia Wetlands to attract other funding sources among a number of other benefits.
