The Kaslo/RDCK Area D Communities Adapting to Climate Change Initiative (CACCI) Adaptation Project (September 2010) identified water provision (and quality) as a priority climate change impact. This project will undertake a regional watershed monitoring study that will develop water monitoring guidelines and a sampling plan to enable the collection of baseline data and tracking of long term trends in stream flow that may be related to changes in the climate. The RDCK/Kaslo Watershed Monitoring study is part of CBT's CACCI Phase 3 support to communities.
