The Community Initiatives and the Affected Areas Programs are community based granting programs that incorporate residents' input in the adjudication process. Funds for the Community Initiatives Program(CIP) are allocated on a per capita funding formula in the Basin. Funds for the Affected Areas Program (AAP) are allocated on a per capita plus a base value per Affected Area funding formula. The Programs are delivered on behalf of the Columbia Basin Trust by the Regional Districts of East Kootenay Central Kootenay Kootenay Boundary City of Revelstoke Town of Golden Village of Valemount and the Ktunaxa Nation Council. City of Revelstoke administers $114 094 CIP funds annually as well as $237 444 AAP annual allocations to the following geographic areas in the listed amounts: City of Revelstoke $159 778 Columbia Shuswap Regional District Area B within 10 kilometers of either the Arrow Lakes or the Kinbasket Reservoir $77 667.
