Transition Nelson's Good Neighbour Program will be working collaboratively with the MIR Centre Community Mediation Program to formalize a framework and operational model for a Community Mediation Service that will serve residents and organizations throughout the West Kootenay region. This project will include but not be limited to building a stable base of trained volunteers and mentors securing a sustainable service infrastructure creating a referral system promoting the service throughout the region and continuing to deliver and evaluate the mediation services being provided. CBT funds will be used towards the costs associated with developing the framework and operational model for this regional service.
