The Slocan District Chamber of Commerce will be hosting a Community Tourism Foundations workshop in New Denver on February 25 2013. The workshop aims to assist in establishing a formal tourism for the Slocan Lake district and will include four Village and area representatives and participants from the local tourism industry and interested community members. CBT funds will be used towards the costs association with this workshop.
