The East Kootenay Success By 6 together with other partners will be hosting a regional tour of workshops facilitated by Jennifer Kolari author of Connected Parenting. The workshops will focus on providing parents and participants with skills and strategies to enhance closeness between parent and child lower child anxiety and build resilience in the child. These workshops will be held in the fall of 2011 in three to four communities in the East Kootenays.
