ANKORS will be hosting the Creating Caring Communities Conference on April 28 29 2011 at Selkirk College in Castlegar. The goal of this conference is to focus on reducing barriers to accessing services for people which use injection and/or inhalation drugs; people who are living with Hepatitis C and/or HIV/AIDS and those who are at risk for contracting blood borne infections. The conference will provide an opportunity to explore ways to decrease the barriers to accessing vital services that address the target populations' health and well being. CBT funds will be used towards the cost of this event.
