Wildsight's Education in the Wild programs help young people develop an understanding and appreciation for the complex mosaic of both non-living components and the living organisms and systems that are required as part of balanced ecosystems. These programs are part of the development in children of ecological literacy inspiring an ethic of conservation and stewardship. Education in the Wild currently consists of two school-based programs: Winter Wonder and Classroom with Outdoors. Programs are offered to schools throughout the Columbia Basin by local professional environmental educators.
