Enterprising Non Profits (enp) is a program that supports social enterprise growth and development in BC. It is a collaborative program supported by eight organizations including Columbia Basin Trust. Social enterprise refers to business ventures operated by non profits. Through enp non profit organizations in the Basin can access grants and resources for technical assistance along the entire business development path. Support can range from funding for a feasibility study for a new venture to help with developing a marketing strategy for an existing business run by a non profit. Workshops on social enterprise and the support available are hosted by enp each spring and fall in the Basin.
