Make access to environmental information on the Columbia Basin easily accessible for Basin residents. Considerable environmental inventory and research work has been conducted in the Columbia River Basin. The results of this inventory and research work is stored in a wide variety of locations and formats (published reports and journal articles databases unpublished reports paper and digital maps). This information is needed for a variety of purposes including: analysis and decision making for resource and environmental management at all levels identification of research inventory and assessment priorities; planning of environmental restoration projects; environment related education
