CBT and Feeding Families Not Bears enter into this agreement to provide resources to support a project in the summer/ fall of 2010 that links volunteer fruit harvesters with fruit tree owners unable to harvest their fruit. This will help provide stewardship of a food resource in the North Kootenay Lake area that otherwise attracts wildlife into area communities. Local families will utilize this fruit and will be educated in fruit processing techniques restoring connections to local food sources and increasing local food security.
