The Gender Action Project Theatre is a twelve week youth created interactive theatre based on collaborative life experiences to show to the broader community in order to create dialogue about topics that matter to youth. Youth will be trained in a powerful respectful interactive and fun way to look at problems we have in our lives and communities and to think of positive ways that these situations can end. This project allows youth to become informed about issues around gender including stereotypes social construction of gender homophobia transphobia and gender based violence and how to respond positively.
