The Golden River Days festival is a community based celebration of our local rivers and their importance in our environment. The festival runs from August 22 24 and features various events on the Blaeberry Kicking Horse and Columbia rivers including guided nature walks along the rivers; free and inexpensive river floats with interpretive talks; the Reel Paddling Film Festival; and the Kla How Ya River Race followed by a riverside community BBQ. CBT funds will be used to support the film festival and marketing of the event.
