The South Kootenay Lake Community Service Society in partnership with the East Shore Alliance Supporting the Early Years will be hosting two events for parents of young children which will appreciate the family and community caretakers of young children and engage parents in a cooperative playschool proposal for next fall. The first event will take place in late May or early June 2013 and will invite moms grandmas and other caregivers for an Appreciate Brunch. The second event will be a pancake breakfast for fathers and young children in June 2013. Both events will be held in Crawford Bay. CBT funds will be used towards the costs associated with this event.
