The North Kootenay Lake Community Services Society in partnership with the Public Health Nurse RCMP and teachers will be hosting the Kaslo and Area D Children's Safety Fair on June 21 2013 in Kaslo and June 25 2013 in Meadow Creek. This event will include brain and head injury prevention use of properly fitted helmets with preschool and elementary aged children and parents provide helmet purchase funding for children of families who have a financial barrier to buying a properly fitted approved helmet injury prevention by increasing awareness education and use of properly fitted child care seats with parents of age appropriate infant and children and burn prevention. CBT funds will be used towards the costs associated with this event.
