The Kimberley Arts Council Centre 64 will be hosting a six day event August 6 11 2012 which promotes alla prima (direct quickly finished) on plein air (outdoor) painting and a new component to the Kimberley Arts on the Edge Festival. This event will enhance and build a supportive community for the artists as well as promote Kimberley and the East Kootenays as a vibrant destination with abundant sources of natural artistic inspiration. CBT funds will be used towards the costs associated with this event.
