The District of Invermere will be constructing an amenity building on the Kinsmen Beach. With the development of the Whiteway in 2008 Kinsmen Beach has become an all season venue. The amenity building will become the key facility in hosting community events and providing services to improve all season enjoyment of Lake Windermere by residents and visitors alike as well as showcase sustainable building practices. CBT funds will be used towards the costs associated with the construction of this project.
