The Castlegar & District Recreation Complex will be hosting the Kootenay Festival on July 16 2011 on the City of Castlegar lands situated across from the West Kootenay Regional Airport. This is a multi faceted event encouraging the recognition and appreciation of the community's diversity through entertainment cuisine and interactive educational activities displays and performances. CBT funds will be used towards the costs associated with this event.
