A Koocanusa Fish and Wildlife Program has been identified by Basin residents as a regional priority through a variety of processes including the Columbia River Treaty Community Education/Consultation process. The Trust has partnered with BC Hydro and the Province of BC (Ministry of Environment) to deliver the Fish and Wildlife Compensation Program in the Kootenay-Koocanusa region.
