The Nature Conservancy of Canada (NCC) will focus on ecosystem restoration activities that will return the selected unit(s) on the Kootenay River Ranch back to an open forest/open grassland structure. Activities such as prescribed burning mechanical or manual spacing will be utilized to achieve the prescribed results.
