The Columbia Youth Community Development Centre will be hosting the Kootenay Skateboard Series Demo on Saturday May 7 2011 at the Cominco Arena Parking Lot. This is a free event that is part of celebration of BC's Youth Week. The Black Russian professional skateboard team will put on a demonstration for spectators following which those who have filled out a waiver will be able to try out the street style course that BC Skateboarding has set up. CBT funds will be used towards the costs associated with this event.
