The Community Initiatives Program is a community-based granting program that incorporates residents' input in the adjudication process. Funds for this program are allocated on a per capita funding formula in the Basin. The Community Initiatives Program is delivered on behalf of the Columbia Basin Trust by the Regional Districts of East Kootenay Central Kootenay Kootenay Boundary City of Revelstoke Town of Golden Village of Valemount and the Ktunaxa Nation Council.
