Lardeau Valley Opportunity LINKS Society will hire a part-time FireSmart position to build capacity, strengthen community resilience and reduce wildfire risk. In addition, they will create a new prescription and implement 10 hectares of fuel management demonstration on lands at Jewett Elementary School in Meadow Creek.
