CBT and Whitebark Pine Ecosystem Foundation of Canada enter into this agreement for the purposes of providing resources to support the costs associated with the delivery of the Limber Pine Restoration Project which will run from July 2011 until June 2012 with selected sites for seedling capture near East Kootenay communities of Golden Invermere Elkford and Sparwood.This project will initiate the restoration of limber pine within East Kootenay while also focusing on the maintenance of biodiversity and helping to improve stewardship of this important keystone species by disseminating information regarding this species and its role in the Basin ecosystem.
