CBT has entered into a Land Conservation contract with the Nature Conservancy of Canada in the acquisition of District Lot 48. This private land acquisition will serve to conserve the land lot and protect native grasslands and ecologically sensitive landscape from residential development. In addition to protecting the ecological cultural heritage and recreational values of this property the conservation project will also provide a connectivity corridor for ungulate winter range and endangered blue listed plant and animal species.
