Kootenay Family Place will be hosting a full day workshop in Castlegar for parent caregivers and professionals from around the region on September 22 2012 at the Sandman Hotel in Castlegar BC. Nationally renowned parent educator and author Mary Sheedy Kurcinka will be presenting at this event. The event is open to the public and approximately 100 people are expected to attend. CBT funds will be used towards the costs associated with this event.
