The Lower Kootenay Band is hosting a National Aboriginal Day at Lower Kootenay Band celebration. The event will take place June 21 2013 at the Lower Kootenay Band Complex in Creston. The National Aboriginal Day celebration is a no cost family celebration which encourages Creston and surrounding areas to learn about the value and importance of the First Nation cultural language traditions and to become more familiar with the Lower Kootenay Band. CBT funds will be used toward the costs associated with hosting this event.
